Giclee done on textured art paper. Print measures 17x22, with white margin around the image. Optional mats are designed to fit in a standard 18x24 frame; we use conservation grade materials only. Octagonal cut, to match the Galactica theme. Acid free backing included with mat set.
Prints are shipped in a cardboard, heavy duty tube; matted prints are shipped flat, wrapped in several layers of 200-lb impact proof cardboard. Original pencil remarques are available, please purchase separately and let us know which character you would like drawn.
The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction and is used for fine art and gallery prints. Giclee prints are created typically using professional 8-color to 12-color ink-jet print engines.
